For the preliminary task, we were put into groups of 3 and 4. I ended up in a group with Lucy and Harry. I believe that we all worked very cohesively as we all had ideas that we were able to mix together and translate into a successful short film. I did not find this task too difficult to execute but we did come across a few challenges along the way when filming and editing. 

A problem that we faced when we got to the editing stage was that we realised that we did not include a clip of one of the characters opening a door and entering another room. This was however resolved as we filmed it during lesson using one of the school cameras and edited it in afterwards.

I believe that the hardest thing that I overcame when doing this task was having mime the words to the songs we included and get the timings right. To overcome this, we played the song on our phones in the background when filming so I wouldn't mime the lyrics too fast.

In the end, I was happy with the final product because it was funny as well as being a musical and the song choices coincided with the narrative we had created. One thing that I was not so happy with was the shot after the first song where the two characters are talking as it looked separate from the scene that was shot before it.
